The
ideal location for the New Life Children's Home has been
selected in the Kathmandu Valley, but outside of ring road
in Kathmandu. This would mean all necessary facilities of
the Capital (e.g. hospitals, medicine) are within reach.
But the Orphanage isaway from the pollution, traffic, and
lack of space the capital city brings. The Kathmandu valley
is inhabited primarily by Newars, an ethnic group of Nepal,
which maintains a healthy respect for family and education.
Areas like Pepsi Cola,Townplanning is safe, and has the
opportunity to provide outdoor space to play. The communities
are strong, and friendly; the orphans would easily become
a part of them.
